"Duck and Cover"

The over message of the video is that you should know how to protect yourself from atomic bombs. We know this because it spends the whole video on instructing you how to do so. The covert message is that policeman and other city volunteers are how socities function. It always shows these people as helpful in a time of need in the video, giving them some ethos. In the video they use plain folk, because they show atleast one situation that relates to you.
